Application of linear filtering 2-D digital images. This course consists of the following: definition of neighborhood of a pixel and linear filtering on a neighborhood, exercise on 2-D convolution of an image from the nucleus of a filter and display the effects of filtering, typical Linear filters, exercise on the fast Fourier transform (FFT), exercise on the representation of transfer functions for 2-D filters and final test.
